Chairman M. van der Voort will open the meeting and welcome all participants. Attendees will be reminded of the Euroseeds Anti-Trust Guidelines and to act accordingly.

3. Cropbooster-P – Designing a roadmap for future-proofing crop production

Ms. Amrit Nanda (Executive Manager of Plant ETP) and Mr. Nick Vangheluwe (Plant ETP/Euroseeds) will present the major outcomes of the CropBooster-P project to which Euroseeds has been a partner and discuss opportunities how to adapt and boost crop productivity before the background of environmental and societal changes.

4. Genetic resources – conservation, use and access and benefit sharing

Ms. Shelagh Kell (Birmingham University) will present the outcomes of the Farmers’ Pride project to which Euroseeds has been a partner and discuss how breeders can best contribute to and benefit from the project results.
The Euroseeds Secretariat then will present some aspects of the new Guidance Document from the European Commission on the EU Access and Benefit Sharing Regulation and the respective work done by the Euroseeds WG Biodiversity (WGB).
Ms. Anke van den Hurk, chair of the WGB, will discuss recent developments in international discussions with regard to digital sequence information (DSI).
